I am an independent private physiotherapy practitioner, specialising in the provision of neurological rehabilitation.
It is a mobile service, where I bring the treatment direct to patients in their own homes.
I hired Jane for some interim physiotherapy for my husband Mick who had a stroke. We both thought she was very professional and trustworthy. She was punctual and was very knowledgeable in her work. We would not hesitate to recommend her to others.

I was diagnosed with lung cancer stage 3 in March 2019. The cancer spread to my brain, resulting in severe muscle spasm in my left shoulder, arm, hand and lost use of my left leg. I was on the waiting list for a NHS Physio, however due to my terminal diagnosis and the long NHS waiting list I decided to look for a private Neuro Physio and I found Jane.
Jane has gone above and beyond, she has liaised with the palliative care team to ensure I have all the recommended aids I need to help with mobility around my home, she has liaised with my specialist cancer team to ensure my medication is monitored to work with my ever changing mobility. She has supported me by asking for fresh referrals and support from the specialist neurological team to ensure together we have the up to date information with my ever changing symptoms. Jane has referred me to the specialist ortho team and I have been fitted with the appropriate leg splints to keep me mobile, supporting my independence that is very important to me.
We meet once a week for treatment and Jane is at the end of the phone if I have any concerns offering support and advice. In these situations that we sometimes find ourselves in, our family and friends are wonderful and supportive, but knowing I have Jane, who understands my illness and my ever changing mobility, gives me the peace of mind and the support that I need from a professional, allowing me to be me and spend the quality time with my family and friends.
I cannot recommend Jane highly enough in her profession and as a caring human being.

Neurological Physiotherapy is a ‘hands on’ treatment aimed at maximising the functional potential of the neurologically disabled patient.
It involves the use of different treatment approaches, skills and knowledge to address the neurological problems clients present with, starting with a specialist initial assessment. From this bespoke treatment is decided, along with/including the patient and family/carers.
In the case of many neurological conditions, including stroke/C.V.A , early onset of specialist intervention and rehabilitation is vital to the long term progress and outcomes achieved.
Many neurological conditions are progressive, long term conditions, requiring ongoing, long term management.
Complex conditions and presentations, causing limited mobility and function, meaning therapy delivered in the home is advantageous.
